These peppers originated in the Caribbean and were believed to have been introduced to the United States in the 19th century. As the name suggests, these peppers are commonly used in seafood and can be used green or left to ripen to red. The plants are compact, around 2 feet tall, and have beautiful variegated foliage. These are excellent for growing in pots and have significant onamental value. 20,000 SHU.


Plant comes fully rooted in a 3" pot. Plant in full sun in well-draining soil in a large pot or the ground. Water and fertilize regularly to yield the best crop. Avoid overhead watering.
