A small (3/4") pepper that grows on a small (1-2') plant. Great in containers. This pepper is native to the American Southwest and along the Andes mountains. Uses for this pepper include pickling, salsas, sauces, and vinegars. It is responsible, along with Chili de Arbol, for the flavor of the popular Cholula brand hot sauce. 30,000 SHU.
Fully rooted pepper plant in a 3" pot. Plant your pepper plants in a full-sun area in well-drained soil in a large pot or in the ground. Water regularly and fertilize to yield the best crop. Avoid overhead watering.
