Called Ancho when dried and Poblano when fresh, this ubiquitous pepper is one of the "Holy Trinity" of peppers that are used for mole sauce. When fresh, the pepper is great roasted or stuffed to make Chile Rellenos. This is a large plant and we recommend planting in the groundl.

 

Plant comes fully rooted in a 3" pot. Plant in full sun in well-draining soil. Water and fertilize regularly to yield the best crop. Avoid overhead watering.
