REAPERS are some of the hottest peppers in the world with the world famous Carolina Reaper entering the Guinness Book of World Records at 1,641,183 Scoville Heat Units (SHUs). Reapers are known to test between 1,400,000 - 2,200,000 SHUs, which make these peppers 175 to 880 times hotter than a Jalapeno pepper! These peppers are not for the faint of heart but those who can handle the heat say they have tasting notes of sweet, fruity, with a hint of cinnamon and even chocolate undertones. This collection includes variations of the famous Carolina Reaper. We have included the Chocolate Reaper, Orange Reaper and Yellow Reaper to this limited collection.
The Chocolate Reaper is a variation of the world's famous Carolina Reaper. It has the same extreme heat as the red with a smoky flavor that is unique to this variety. 1,500,383 - 2,200,000 SHUs.
The Orange Reaper is known to be slightly less spicy than the Carolina Reaper but it still brings the heat at a scorchingly hot 1,400,000 - 2,200,000 SHUs. The orange reaper stands out with its citrus flavor that is very popular in tropical cooking.
The Yellow Reaper is notably fruitier than other Reapers, and it is excellent to infuse dishes with that distinctive fruity, smokey flavor, but use with caution. Although it is milder that other Reapers, it still weighs in at a whopping 1,500,00 to 2,200,000 SHUs. Try drying it to make seasoning to enjoy year round.
CAUTION: All three of these peppers are extremely hot. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the safe cultivation and consumption of these peppers.
