Product Overview

This is another canning, sauce, and paste tomato with slightly thinner flesh and a more pointed tip than Roma tomatoes. These tomatoes have a stronger flavor and are sweeter and less acidic than the traditional roma, making them excellent for tomato sauces and pastes. The other difference between San Marzano and Roma tomatoes is that San Marzanos are indeterminate which means they produce fruit over a longer period of time.  Indeterminate

Plant comes fully rooted in a 3" pot. Plant in full sun in well-draining soil in a large pot or the ground. Water and fertilize regularly to yield the best crop. Avoid overhead watering.
