Purple Haze

Purple Haze is a large sweet purple fleshed fruit with few seeds. The fruit weigh up to two pounds, and they have a pleasant grape, kiwi-like flavor. This variety is self-pollinating, and like all of the other magenta fleshed fruit it will set fruit on its own.

Dragon fruit can be grow in containers or in the ground as long as they are planted in well-drained soil, full sun and trained to a trellis to support weight of this fast-growing cactus. Protect from hard freezes.

Dragon Fruit Plant Care: All of our dragon fruit plants have been greenhouse grown. When you receive your plants, please be patient in acclimating them to their new environment. This means slowly transitioning them from full shade to full sun over a period of at least three weeks. Dragon fruit is tropical fruiting cactus. Dragon fruit will not grow in cold climates, so make sure that the temperature is above 40 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent cold damage. Dragon fruit plants can be grown in large containers or the ground. Avoid overplanting into very large containers, instead gradually increase container size in relation to the plant size. We recommend a complete fertilizer during the growing season. Avoid overwatering in the winter to ensure the plant does not rot off.

Healthy, rooted and cheap $5. While people on the internet are charging $20 per cutting without root.
